Stories of Lives Transformed in the Pursuit of Christ

“I absolutely loved my time working at Indian Hills Camp as a summer staff; it was amazing! My favorite thing about Indian Hills is it is so focused on sharing Jesus Christ with kids, and they also invite high schoolers to be a part of that. It was so wonderful to see God working in everyone around me and also in myself. As I was at camp, I grew closer to God as I relied on Him to give me strength and wisdom, and as we had our weekly Bible study. On the daily with everybody I was working with, we were encouraging each other. I’m so thankful that God called me to work at Indian Hills Camp this summer.”

Summer Staff

“Working at Indian Hills Camp last summer was an absolute blessing. I was sharpened and strengthened in ways that I did not expect, not only in zipline and archery, but as a follower of Christ. The things that I am most thankful for that I learned are my work ethic and discipline. These were absolutely huge and grew over those 9 weeks, and it was awesome to see. I think this was because of the opportunity to wake up early every single day to serve and love in such a practical way; it was amazing. Through those 9 weeks, God moved in my life to grow my love for other people, to pray to Him, and to lean on Him when I was having struggles. But also, when I did have struggles, I could go to the loving staff who treated my problems as valid and important. They weren’t just thrown into some complaint box, but I was treated with such love that I never felt alone there, and it was amazing.”
