Reaching kids for Jesus Christ through camping.

The mission of Indian Hills Camp is simple and reflects the foundational purpose of investing in the spiritual development of youth, by giving them a space to experience God’s creation.

Who we Are

Forgiven

We believe that our lives are redeemed by the saving work of Jesus Christ and we are able to work to make His name known in our lives through speaking, working, serving, and helping.

Humble

We have been given an amazing life to bring the Gospel to all through Camp. We have our titles and positions at camp. But no one is above serving and helping others, whether filing reports or scrubbing toilets.

Active

As members of IHC, our staff are active in their faiths and involvement in the local church. As an organization, IHC is active in the local community and supporting those around us. We seek to be a place of family, personal, and spiritual growth by providing a community in nature.

Available

We're here to help, so don't be shy to flag any of us down. We'll work to make it happen or connect you with someone who can. Our thought is that it's always my job to work with our guests.

What

we

Believe

1. Scripture

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God,

the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

2. God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, truly God and truly man.

John 1:14; Luke 1:35; Philippians 2:5–11

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe that God manifests Himself through the Holy Spirit, who is a distinct personality, eternally coexistent with the Father and the Son, who convicts of sin, regenerates believers, indwells, empowers, and glorifies Christ.

John 16:7–8; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9–11

5. Humanity and Sin

We believe that humanity was created in God’s image but fell through sin, incurring physical and spiritual death—separation from God.

Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

6. Salvation

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe are justified by His shed blood.

1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 5:8–9; Ephesians 2:8–9

7. Resurrection and Return of Christ

We believe in Christ’s bodily resurrection, ascension, present advocacy, and imminent personal return.

Luke 24:6–7; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 7:25; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

8. Eternal Destiny

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust: the saved to everlasting life, the lost to everlasting separation from God.

John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15

9. Human Sexuality and Marriage

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, in His image. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman, uniquely reflecting Christ’s relationship with the Church.

Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:31–32

We affirm that sexual intimacy is a gift of God reserved for marriage, and that all forms of sexual immorality are sinful.

1 Corinthians 6:18–20; Hebrews 13:4; Romans 1:26–27

10. Redemption and Grace

We believe God offers redemption and restoration to all who repent and trust Christ. 1 John 1:9; Titus 2:11–14

11. Human Dignity

We believe all people bear God’s image and deserve love, respect, and dignity. Hateful attitudes are contrary to Scripture.

Genesis 1:27; Micah 6:8; John 13:34–35

12. The Sanctity of Life

We believe all human life is sacred from conception to natural death, including the unborn, the elderly, and the vulnerable.

Psalm 139:13–16; Jeremiah 1:5; Job 12:10
