Gold Rush Days

Travel back to the 1850s for the California Gold Rush!

Relive a day in the Ol' West. As you step back in time, your students will become prospectors in an 1850's mining camp and meet some interesting characters.

Be part of the Ol' West as students step back in time to experience life in the 1850s gold fields!  Students will stake a claim, pan for gold, stay in a miner boomtown, and have the opportunity to STRIKE IT RICH or LOSE IT ALL!  This course is perfect for 4th grade classes studying California History.

This course is designed for 4th grade classes studying California Gold Rush, meeting CA State Standard 4.3 and 4.4.

Both an overnight program and a full day program make Gold Rush Days flexible enough to fit your schedule:

Arrival Days: Tuesday - Thursday 

*Please note: The Overnight Program only begins Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Also, the One-Day option can only be booked for Tuesday through Thursday dates.

**A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation and will be applied to the total fees due.

Minimum: 30 Students (or combine with another group)

Free-time Activities Include:

Farmyard, Trading Post, Obstacle Course, Giant Playground, Sports Equipment, Sling Shots, Archery.
