Summer Camp

IHC Summer Camp 2012 Dates:

Kid's Camp Week 1: June 19-24, 2012 (for children in the 2nd-5th grades in the current 2011-2012 school year) 

Kid's Camp Week 2: June 26-July 1, 2011 (for children in the 2nd-5th grades in the cuurent 2011-2012 school year)

Kid's Camp Week 3: July 3-8, 2011 (for children in the 2nd-5th grades in the current 2011-2012 school year)

Jr. High Camp Week 5: July 17-22, 2011 (for children in the 6th-8th grades in the current 2011-2012 school year)

 

 

NOTICE: IHC's desire is to provide the opportunity for  children to attend camp for free regardless of their background or circumstance and would like as many children as possible to attend.  Therefore, a child may only attend one week of encampment per summer.

 

Optional Activities ($35.00 each):

Animal Antics (Kid’s Camp Only) - Enter the world of animals in this fun, hands on, educational experience! This track will teach you about the care and maintenance of common pets and farm animals.

Survivor (Kid’s Camp Only) - Do you have what it takes to survive in the wilderness?  Discover and put into practice essential skills you need to survive in the wild!  This educational track will cover basic survival skills and principles, leaving you more prepared for the unexpected.

Divin' Deep (Kid's Camp Only) - Jump on in and learn the basics of snorkeling, underwater exploration games and staying safe in and around bodies of water. Taught by certified lifeguards, this track will cover snorkeling, water safety, basic rescue techniques, and fun water survival skills.

Paintball (Kid’s Camp—target range only; Jr. High Camp—paintball game or target range) - Paintball is an optional activity in which children will learn basic marker safety principles in a classroom setting and then practice at our target range under close supervision. Our target range offers challenging and fun elements for all skill levels.  

 

Paintball takes place 1-2 hours one day during the encampment.

Tracks are on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 1 and 1/2 hours each day.
