Head Registrar

Indian Hills Camp is seeking individuals who are motivated and dependable looking to work at a Jesus centered community-driven organization! We are looking for ministry-minded, mature Christians with a heart for service. Our full-time/part-time and year-round positions offer a unique opportunity to serve guests groups of various backgrounds. We are committed to provide a place to reach children for Jesus Christ, as well as, be a retreat camp for churches and children’s programs. We firmly believe our Head Registrar is a key player in guest satisfaction and transformation. 

The Head Registrar is expected to develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with guest group leaders, ministry partners and other organizations in an effort to both increase retention, as well as grow our group base, while at all times providing superior service by facilitating outstanding guest experiences through all stages of the encampment planning process.

Responsibilities:

-Serves guests and staff in a way that is consistent with Indian Hills Camp’s mission, vision, and core values.
-Orchestrates all pre-retreat services, which includes communication with group leaders, and acting as the conduit     between the guest and all internal departments.
-Converts inquiries (i.e. webmasters, calls, tours, other inquires) into confirmed groups.
-Walks guests through the entire event planning process with detailing that can include, but is not limited to: meal times, arrival/departure times, check-in/check-out locations, program options and schedules, housing details, meeting space locations/layouts, updated guest attendance numbers, deposits/payments, and the coordination and collection of necessary forms (i.e. Liability Insurance, Registrations, Voluntary Disclosure or Background check forms).
-Actively follows-up with assigned guest group leaders as part of the post-retreat protocol, which includes obtaining feedback on their retreat experience, the collection of any outstanding check-out forms, as well as streamlining their re-booking process for future retreats.
-Maintains repeat business and grows customer base by efficiently and effectively communicating with guest group leaders to instill a desire to re-book for future retreats in a prompt, yet professional manner.
-Collaborative meetings with Program and Facilities departments to ensure alignment and the highest quality of services provided to contracted groups as the advocate and active voice of the guest and their perspective.
-Coordinates necessary specifics on a daily basis with all departments via emails, or other communications methods to effectively prepare for our guest groups.
-Creates, revises, and distributes “info sheets” to appropriate departments and facilitates weekly meetings to ensure clear communication about group’s wants and desires.
-Facilitates accurate data recording to assist with Camper Day tracking
-Shares group impact stories and other important information about guest groups with staff meetings in conjunction with the mission, vision, and core values at Indian Hills Camp.
-Seeks opportunities and proposes new systems/processes to ensure the highest level of efficiency in the Registration process.

Business Manager

We are committed to provide a place to reach children for Jesus Christ, as well as, be a retreat camp for churches and children’s programs. We firmly believe our Business Manager is a key player in guest satisfaction and transformation. 

Our Business Manager oversees the activities of workers; hire, train and evaluate new employees; and ensure that Indian Hills Camp is on track to meet its financial goals. We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to lead and oversee the work of employees in our company. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters business. They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture.

Responsibilities:
-Maintain and assist development of Risk Management procedures
-Provide, develop and assist with financial reporting
-Maintain and assist with Administration Operations and Office management
-Provide administrative and implementation support to Chief Financial Officer/Associate Director
-Provide, develop and assist all Human Resource Operations

Food Service Coordinator

Our full-time/part-time and year-round positions offer a unique opportunity to serve guests groups of various backgrounds. We are committed to provide a place to reach children for Jesus Christ, as well as, be a retreat camp for churches and children’s programs. We firmly believe our Food Service is a key player in guest satisfaction and transformation.

Our Food Service Coordinator is responsible for the leading operation of Indian Hills Camp kitchen and food service. All cooks will work in all facets of the kitchen: preparation, and clean-up. The Coordinator will lead in food orders, meal planning, and supervising staff, etc. Indian Hill’s cooks will create a safe, fun, and team oriented atmosphere.

Essential Job Functions: 
-Oversee the preparation of balanced camp meals.
-Cook and direct in the preparation of a variety of meals.
-Ensure safe and efficient preparation and serving of camp meals in the Indian Hills method and standard.
-Provide counts for a meal, coordinate serving food and seconds, attend to special needs.
-Assure in passing grade on Health Inspections.
-Oversee in kitchen with food prep, serving, and clean-up as needed.
-Oversee the maintenance and sanitation of the dining areas and kitchen:
-Oversee the cleanliness of tables, benches, floors, ascertaining that everything is in readiness for the following meal.
-Assure that the “daily close” and “turn-over” charts are completed.
-Promote practices that seek to reduce waste, reuse items, and recycle as much as possible.
-Maintain, stock, clean, as needed in the dining area.
-Inventory and refill any materials needed in the operation of the dining area.
-Oversee with the work of the dishwashers to maintain the cleanliness of the dish room area.
-Oversee and assure all good relations with vendors and always looking to improve cost effectiveness

Facilities Supervisor

Indian Hills Camp is seeking individuals who are motivated and dependable looking to work at a Jesus centered community-driven organization! We are looking for ministry-minded, mature Christians with a heart for service. Our full-time/part-time and year-round positions offer a unique opportunity to serve guests groups of various backgrounds. We are committed to provide a place to reach children for Jesus Christ, as well as, be a retreat camp for churches and children’s programs. We firmly believe our Facilities Department is a key player in guest satisfaction and transformation. 

Our Facilities Supervisor is responsible to lead the operations of all Facilities at Indian Hills Camp. All Employees in Facilities; Maintenance; Grounds and Housekeeping will be under the leadership of this position. All scheduling; budgeting; working with the county will be done through their office.

Essential Job functions:
-Provide leadership and direction for staff and facilities operations
-Special projects and assignments as requested
-Maintain the camp facility and equipment in good condition.
-Oversee Department budget as directed.
-Supervise maintenance staff and volunteers in completing needed maintenance projects.
-Plan, develop, organize, and prioritize maintenance projects.
-Supervision to include housekeeping, grounds, pool maintenance, vehicle maintenance, general repair, and general construction according to IHC Maintenance procedures.
-Work with total camp operations and cooperate with other staff members and departments.
-Oversee maintenance; grounds and housekeeping
-Assist in Risk management of all facilities of the Camp
-Budgeting of deferred maintenance

Housekeeping and Grounds

Indian Hills Camp is seeking individuals who are motivated and dependable looking to work at a Jesus centered community-driven organization! We are looking for ministry-minded, mature Christians with a heart for service. Our full-time/part-time and year-round positions offer a unique opportunity to serve guests groups of various backgrounds. We are committed to provide a place to reach children for Jesus Christ, as well as, be a retreat camp for churches and children’s programs. We firmly believe our Maintenance / Housekeeping department is a key player in guest satisfaction and transformation. 

Position Overview for Housekeeping: 
Responsible for general upkeep & cleanliness of our facilities. Performs specific cleaning tasks as assigned; Cabins, Wagons and Tepees, meeting facilities, restrooms, classrooms, office, hard floor surfaces and carpets. Cleaning tasks include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal and using various machines to perform cleaning work. Daily classroom room set ups/breakdowns.

Position Overview for Groundskeeper:
The groundskeeper position is responsible for the care, upkeep and maintenance of all outdoor and common areas, including: landscaped areas, pathways, pools, and roads. Must have experience in: grounds keeping, gardening, general maintenance aptitude, good communication skills, and a sense of customer service.

Responsibilities for Groundskeeper: Daily cleaning of property and upkeep of all common areas. Remove trash/litter, sweep pathways and sidewalks. Basic gardening/weeding. Minor painting projects as needed around property.
